Braveheart Tartan

In case you wondered, my tartan is called "Braveheart Plaid Authentic Islay Tweed". It was created especially for the 1995 movie "Braveheart" about William Wallace, c. 1270- 1305. The cloth is now available on Etsy.

Wallace is remembered for leading the Scottish resistance forces during the struggle to free Scotland from English rule. [Britannica Entry]. I am proud to bear (so to speak) the name of this brave Scottish hero.

Registration notes:	A joint design between Charles Knode i/c of the Shepperton Studios wardrobe dept and Gordon Cavell of the Islay Woollen Mill on the Hebridean isle of Islay for Mel Gibson's 1995 Braveheart epic. Charles Knode sent Gordon a sports jacket and asked him to create a tartan/tweed from it. Since this is very much a tweed design rather than a tartan, with some marled yarns included, its graphic is not at all accurate but gives a rough idea of the dimensions and layout.

My First Day in America

Some more pictures of my first day at @kittehboi's house in America. He doesn't talk about them much but there are LOTS of stuffies here, not just the ones in these photos.

MiniBreeze is Mr. Breeze's plush avatar, who likes to travel around the world with his friend Flat Cassidy. Also in the photo is Toby Baboon. Toby came here from @Kolo_Martin's Baboon Headquarters. The cats in the photo are Ragamuffin (pink collar) and Mr. Breeze (grey collar/blue tag).

My New Home in America

You may know that last summer we lost Toddy Furrington and his valet, Kevin. Kevin's niece, Natalie, has generously let @TourGuideTed have a large number of members of the Furrington Hug in order for him to ensure they are adopted out to friends and acquaintances.

I was one of the bears from The Furrington Hug Adoption. Now I live with @ToddyFur's pal @kittehboi in America. His humans are into folk music and they promise me bagpipes, Islay scotch, and Walker's biscuits.
